Victoria Falls

The Smoke that Thunders

Victoria Falls is known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya, which means “The smoke that thunders”. It is an absolute must on any southern African travel itinerary. At more than 1700 metres wide, it is the largest waterfall in the world and is named as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the world. It forms a natural border between Zambia and Zimbabwe with the Zambezi River, where river cruises and adventure activities await.
